BMW E30 316 Lux Touring – It was with a heavy heart that I said goodbye to my amazing E30 Touring. I had bought the car off Andy when he sold my previous BMW E30 Saloon, also bought from him some 13 years earlier. The previous sale had been due to needing an estate and the latter due to the soon to be extended London ULEZ zone. Sadly these magnificent cars have to be 40 years old before they are granted historical vehicle exemption.
Andy is a professional and goes the extra mile. More valuable still, he is totally empathic and got my need that both my cars went to ‘good homes’. He even facilitated contact between us and in the case of the E30 touring the connection goes right back to the original purchaser in 1993!
Thanks again Andy, I hope to be back once historical exemptions apply!
