Buying BMW E30 318is Twin Cam – So after selling off my entire classic car collection apart from a  âmodern classicâ BMW I got the itch again to have just one older vehicle, Iâd exhausted the Fordâs over the years so set my heart on an BMW E30 (if possible a red E30 like the one we had in the early 90âs) and so the search began !, but almost instantly I realised that my expectations and my impression/idea of good original condition or professionally restored car was worlds apart from the sellers impression/idea as were the vehicles I was trawling around viewing, then I stumbled across a beautiful looking Red E30 at Old Colonel Cars run by a guy called Andy, checked out all the very positive reviews and gave him a call, he described the car to me as everything I was looking for and even understood I was unable to take a look for a few days but assured me I would be next to view, as it happens I neednât of bothered as the car was exactly as described to me, just as accurately described in the advert but it was nice to meet Andy and have a good chat about cars, a deal was agreed and the car delivered to my house within 5 days, I wouldnât hesitate to recommend Andy @ Old Colonel Cars if youâre looking for an honest old school dealer
