Here at Old Colonel Cars, the Classic and Performance Car Agency, we have this super classic, the MG B Roadster, featuring the 1.8 engine mated to a manual gearbox.
First registered in September 1972, the current owner has enjoyed and maintained this car for no less than 33 years.
Before they purchased the car, it was extensively treated for with anti corrosive material inside its inner and outer sills. Its a testament to how well this works when you look at how solid this example is to this day.
In the last few years, the car has been repainted, new roof and new interior.
It starts and drives without any fuss, a very spirited drive. The 1.8 engine responds very well, the manual gearbox nice and easy to use. The overdrive kicks in straight away.
Its fitted with a stainless steel exhaust.
Being over 40 years old, the MG is now Mot Exempt, Tax Free with no ULEZ charges.
