This is a 1999 SL500 40th Anniversary edition, 1 of 150 RHD cars.
This example is finished in the best colour in my opinion, Designo Variocolour Blue / Green. As the colour name suggests, this stunning paintwork has a heavy metallic shine, changing from Blue to Green depending on the light conditions. The paintwork on this example is in outstanding condition, really making the most of this stand out colour.
Look closer, its clearly been polished and protected, it ready to show now, outstanding.
This example also features the Panoramic hard top, with the roof completed in tinted glass, a lovely addition. There is a hard top stand do you can remove the hardtop for the summer months.
Inside, this SL is finished in Light Grey leather, again this is in excellent condition. The interior has the ‘special edition’ detailing along with matching kick plates as you get in the car.
Look at the wheels on this special model, AMG alloys that are the perfect match for this car. No curbing, all in excellent condition.
This SL is powered by the most powerful version of the M119 5.0 litre V8, developing 322 bhp and mated to a 5-speed auto. This is the most sought after engine and transmission combination, for SL500 R129 enthusiasts.
This example benefits from and excellent, fully documented service history. We have all the original manual, a fully stamped original service book, all keys, a folder with all old service receipts and all old MOT’s. If history is your thing, this car will not dissapoint.
The soft top roof is in excellent condition, working without fuss. The air conditioning is ice cold if you fancy the roof up.
