Here at Old Colonel Cars, the Classic and Performance Car Agency, we have this absolutely superb example of the Mercedes R129 SL 500.
This January 1993 example has covered only 74,000 Miles.
A low owner car, this car has only had 4 keepers, the current owner has enjoyed this car for the last 6 years.
Part of a small collection, the owner has used this SL to travel from the UK to their property in France. For the last 4 years, its been used as the summer car in France. When not in use, the car has been stored in a well protected barn in France.
The paintwork on this example is immaculate, finished in Pearl Grey Metallic.
Look closer, there are no dings or dents, no rust, just a well protected, deep shine paint finish.
Inside, it comes with the Light Grey, soft leather interior, complimented by wood trim. Again this is in lovely condition.
It features Heated and Electric seats, Air Conditioning, Original Becker stereo, Wind defector, all keys etc.
As you can see from the service history, it always been looked after by Mercedes main dealers.
We have all the original manuals, all the original keys, a fully stamped original service book, a folder full of old Mot’s and Service receipts etc.
Its just been driven over from France to me, this car drives and performs perfectly.
The soft top is in good condition, as is the original hard top.
