Here at Old Colonel Cars, the Classic and Performance Car Agency, we are delighted to have this Jaguar XJ 4.0 V8 Sovereign.
This absolutely pristine example is a September 1999 XJ, with only 29,000 Miles.
Now here at OCC, we are lucky enough to have some superb, low mileage cars. This XJ is exceptional. I have had the pleasure of driving the car for the last couple of days and I am amazed how well this car drives. Its so impressive, the suspension is superb, no rattles, no bumps etc, in fact no noises at all, its soo quiet.
The engine is super responsive, as is the gearbox, this car has clearly been cherished.
Look at the detailed video on our website advert, the paintwork / bodywork / interior are all just as good.
You can tell the type of owner the car has had, with the addition of the odd badge, plastic protectors on door edges etc, but I think this adds to the charm, obviously a big Jag enthusiast.
This is a low owner car, only 3 owners in 27 years. The first for 10 years and the second for 16 years …

Its clear this car has been garaged all its life.
It benefits from a full service history. We have all the original manuals and an original stamped service book. We have a folder full of old Mot’s etc. Both keys.
I have tried all the buttons, it all seems to work as it should, everything lights up as it should, the air con is ice cold.
Looking at the MOT history on this car, clear Mot’s every year, no advisories at (apart from 1 minor advisory in 2008) …
