First Registered October 1974.
Current owner for 23 years. Always stored in a de humidified garage when not in use.
Reconditioned engine fitted in 1984, covered 33,000 miles since then …
Has full strip down and re spray in 2018, including full rust proofing, painting inside, new soundproofing etc
Comes with a massive folder of invoices, old MOT’s etc going all the ways back.
It also comes with original BMW workshop manuals.
Its no garage queen though, this car wants to be used. It drives and performs very well indeed, all the controls / heater / fans / wipers all working as they should.
The engine starts without fuss, no smoke etc when pushed.
The clutch and gearchange from the 4 speed manual gearbox are very good.
Its features a period look stereo with modern connectivity.
Although its now historic class, so no road tax to pay or MOT needed, the owner sensibly has continued to MOT every year.
