Good, low mileage E39’s are very difficult to find now, but good touring’s like this are almost impossible.
This amazing example has covered just 57,000 miles from new and has had only two keepers.
Even more unusually, the first owners retained the car for an incredible 22 years.
The original owners, managed a BMW main dealer garage, so had the car specified to their own requirements from new, and subsequently maintained and cared for it at the BMW main dealer.
First registered in October 2001, this superb example is powered by BMW’s renowned 2.5-litre straight-six petrol engine, paired with the smooth and capable E39 Touring chassis.
What makes this particular car especially desirable is its exceptional provenance, specification and condition.
Finished in the rare and beautiful Blue Water Blue Metallic, complemented by a Grey Comfort Leather interior, clear glass, it is a wonderfully understated combination that really suits the E39.
I have never before see an E39 in this colour and I must say, in the flesh its a fantastic colour.
