This model was aimed at the Gti’s etc of the period, so rather than a normal 1.8 engine, these ‘is’ models featured a very sporty engine, the M44 1.9 Twin Cam engine.
Most of these where autos, so its rare to find a manual like this one.
The whole package means this car is great fun to drive, even at lower speeds. Look how far back the engine is, its got near perfect 50 / 50 weight distribution, rear wheel drive. The twin cam engine feels like a proper racer, it loves to be revved.
With M Sport suspension, and a perfect balance, you will be soon throwing this car down your favourite B Road.
This particular car is one for the last, so its a face lift May 1999 car (earlier cars had the 1.8 rather than the 1.9), so it comes from the factory with clear lights, fully colour coded, later style alloys etc.
The Bright Red paintwork is in superb condition, a really deep all over shine.
Look closer, there are no dings or dents, no rust on this car, all solid arches etc.
Look inside, the interior is in such lovely, original condition. This car comes with some nice extra options, the M Sport steering wheel and gear selector, the original BMW stereo, duel air conditioning, remote central locking.
Look underneath, again in amazing original condition.
Its a 2 owner car, the last owner purchased it from Old Colonel Cars 8 years ago.
