Here at Old Colonel Cars, the Classic and Performance Car Agency, we are delighted to have this immaculate, BMW E30 325i Convertible manual.
This August 1990 example comes in possibly one of BMW’s finest colours from this period, Malachite Green. This colour really suits this classic shape, especially when combined with the chrome bumpers and the desirable 15 inch BMW BBS alloys. The sports interior is finished in Tan leather, with matching carpets. A very well specified example, benefitting from rear headrests and factory Sports suspension and Sport steering wheel.
This E30 is in excellent condition. The paintwork has a lovely deep all over shine, with no rust, all solid wheel arches etc. Look in the engine bay and boot, it all presents just as well.
Looking through the massive amount of history that comes with this car its clear to see its been enthusiast owned. The current owner’s are very good customers of mine, with a lovely collection of classic BMW’s. They are only letting this car go due to an impending house move, as it took them a long time to find one this good.
They have just had the well renowned BMW Specialist Bird’s, go through this car, performing the big Inspection II service along with Cambelt etc . They performed a new MOT, the only advisory was quickly dealt with. The advisory was just a chip in the windscreen. The owners are true BMW enthusiasts, so wanted this car to be period correct, so rather than having any cheap screen fitted, they managed to track down a new ‘old stock’, green top tint, OEM screen for this lovely car.
This E30 drives and performs perfectly. It really does drive and feel as tight as you will find on one of these, the engine and gearbox, brakes and suspension all performing as they should.
The roof has recently been replaced. Its a manual roof, so opens and closes without fuss.
